Neighbors Flipping Off Neighbors With Democratic Yard Signs. Are We In For Open Hostility In 2016.
There is a young man who is a Democrat and also gay who has relayed the fact that he is in a very red GOP neighborhood. During a recent campaign his neighbors have been very vocal and very angry about Dem supporting yard signs. Being flipped off because he is not a GOPPER is pretty usual where he lives.
American is being whipped up into a hate filled paranoia and there are few signs that this fear campaign will end any time soon. Hate radio and Fux News are getting more strident every day. Of course, the GOP candidates are doing a lot of their own over the top fear mongering.
And such fear mongering almost seems worse then post 9/11. And the debate is moving toward a referendum on whether we keep or troops home and declare WWIII on the Middle East. The level of hate being leveled at Obama for NOT sending hundreds of thousand combat troops back to Iraq has not even crescendoed yet and it is not even close.
Recent polls are worrisome.
