We got a reprieve. Now: let's eradicate the Guinea Worm

President Carter's cancer is in remission, thank God or FSM or whomever the hell you want to.

This is a reprieve.

President Carter has said his goal now is that Guinea Worm Disease dies before he does. We can make this happen.

I would love to see Guinea Worm eradicated. I spent two years in West Africa working for the project as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the mid-90's. I helped lay the groundwork that eventually did eradicate it in Cote d'Ivoire.
