"Terra, terra, terra...I'm tired of hearing about it" - Robert Fisk video on VRT

Robert Fisk calls IS a weapon "made in Saudi" on belgian news show. The entire interview is rather refreshing - our memories, about Saddam and Qaddafi being our friends at one time. He calls the west-sponsored dictators "hand puppets".

This is one of the main in-depth news programs on TV.

See clip of Ter Zake here:
http://deredactie.be/cm/vrtnieuws/videozone/programmas/terzake/2.41982?playlist=7.40196&video=1.2514174

It has a little bit of dutch but Fisk is in english with subtitles. It has 9K shares, an unusually high number. I think it needs to go higher

In other news: 10.000 march for the climate in Ostend, clip at VRT called "only people can stem the tide". Elsewhere, it was Climate Alert Level 4.

bmc

And why is it that supposedly its members are such fundamentalist Muslims, yet they attack everywhere but Israel?

And now even a single lone wolf with probable mental illness can randomly attack somebody in the subway in London, and it is not deemed a knife attack but terrorism. Why? Was funding for UK's security system about to dry up?

thanks for the tip.

I have a documentary on my HD about you(r screenname) - "The Century of the Self".

It used to be here but not anymore. This seemed to have it but it's blocked by BBC for copyright.
On edit: part 1/4, one hour, is here.

That's why I have said screen name 😉

It should be mandatory viewing in every high school in America.

All of Curtis' work is pretty crucial viewing. His last one - Bitter Lake - is flawed in some respects, but has such vital info in it as to make it required viewing.

of hearing about terrorists attacking innocent people all over the fucking place. When you have to worry about getting killed while attending a concert, sitting at a cafe, attending a Christmas party, you're quite simply not going to be worrying about climate change. To expect otherwise is closing your eyes to reality.

I shuddered and then lost sleep at night when I first saw the world wide famous photo of
kim Phuc, a youngster burned by napalm by our troops in Vietnam.

And when that war finally ended, we found out that in addition to our 50,000 plus war dead, about some 6 million people had been killed, wounded or made homeless, while Agent Orange continues to cause birth defects in that tiny nation.

And over the next forty years, we have continued with our endless wars for profit.

Including the war against the People of Iraq, where one million people have been killed during our actual fighting, and also during the upheaval after our troops destabilized that region. (The CIA's main goal over the past two decades has been to cause instability in areas where they don't know quite what else to do.)

And now the war has been brought home to us, as the people hired for our police departments have the same "Shoot first, ask questions later" mentality our troops in Iraq held.

So beware if you don't wear your seat belt. Even being pregnant won't save you from the US Local Gestapo's over-responsive assaults on you!
