We can't nation build. That is proven in Iraq and Afghanistan. What we can do is destroy Isis and let Assad pick up the pieces.
Personally I would prefer no ground troops. I don't trust the administration to do the right thing. They're going to use this not to defeat Isis, but to pull more CIA shenanigans against Russia and Assad.
