This cat introducing her kittens to a dog is so cute it actually hurts

Source: Metro UK

If you can watch this clip without getting the feels then you officially have no soul.

Here we have a mother cat with two of her kittens, but why is she letting them near this vicious dog?

According to the video poster the cat, a stray, has spent many years on the streets of Russia with the dog, and decided to bring her new kittens to meet her old friend when they got old enough.

At first the dog bare his teeth, but after some paw threatening from the mother cat her quickly settles in to the role of ‘playful uncle’ with the two kittens.

to have a good, safe home....

They do look in pretty good condition, I'm hoping someone is feeding them regularly and maybe they find shelter nearby...

The momma tells the dog to be nice, and then goes off and just watches, trusting her doggy friend and that her message would be accepted.

I love watching animals communicate.

but was noticeably "rougher" with mama. The dog knows they're babies.

After all the "discussions" about guns, it's so nice to see that 2 different species can get along so well. My dog always thought he was the kittens' guardian and would sit at attention by the box, protecting them, when the momma cat left to take care of necessities.

When Butch died and we got another dog a year later, Zoey again first schooled the puppy that he wasn't to mess with her, then made friends with him a week later. 11 years later, they are still BFF's.
