Is LaPierre so silent because he's afraid of Hillary making this a big election issue? She has the

majority of the country on her side. Perhaps reasonable gun regulations will be the next GOP wedge issue to be neutralized. Or perhaps LaPierre is so broken up he's doing a very long moment of silence in honor of those who died?

the rank and file right has been quiet today.
They do not want any discussion of gun regulation. The far right would rather terrorists get firearms.

"I voted against the terrorist watch list and guns because I want due process for those on the watch list." I don't want to take away their guns without giving them a chance to say I am not a terrorist."
