Author lists on Twitter all the ‘acts of terrorism’ she lived through as a Planned Parenthood worker

Raw Story

Author Bryn Greenwood revealed on Twitter over the weekend the “acts of terrorism” she had experienced while working at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Kansas.

Following last week’s shootings at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado, Greenwood devoted her Twitter timeline on Sunday to explaining that domestic terrorism was a fact of life at some clinics.

“I worked at a #PlannedParenthood clinic in Kansas for 3 years. My coworkers & I were subjected to the following acts of terrorism,” she began in a message that had been retweeted thousands of times by Monday morning.

Greenwood recalled incidents including gasoline being poured under the doors and lit to hundreds of threatening phone calls vowing to kill the clinic workers, who were branded “murdering whores” even though the clinic did not perform abortions.

The Supremes back in June 2014 opened up the area in front of clinics so protesters could get real, real close. They tried to make it sound like murderers were all sweet quiet grandmothers. Even fools here on DU tried to tell me how peaceful anti-abortion protesters really were.

"However, supporters of the law argue that McCullen’s story is an attempt to soften the face of abortion protesters from what they say is a long history of violence and intimidation outside reproductive health clinics.

The National Abortion Federation, a professional associations of abortion providers in North America, has tracked thousands of incidences of violence outside abortion facilities since 1977. The organization says buffer-zone laws have dramatically cut back on such incidents — a 2013 NAF survey found that 51 percent of facilities with buffer zones reported a decrease in criminal activity near the facility after the zone was put into place, and 75 percent of responding facilities with buffer zones said the zones improved staff and patient access to the facilities." http://www.nationaljournal.com/health-care/2014/06/26/what-todays-supreme-court-ruling-means-abortion-clinics

So how peaceful are these crazies and aren't you glad the Supremes made it so they can get right up close?

Avoid anti-abortion crazies at all costs, even if they look like your neighbor. If they find out you support abortions, they will kill you.

I was way more afraid while dealing with the every-sperm-is-sacred loonies than anything Vietnam had to offer.

Domestic. Christian. Extremist. Terrorism. Yes, it is very, very real.

The goal was to make us afraid to come to work, to make us quit, to make us close the clinic. That's terrorism. That's how terrorism works

I used to go to PP in downtown Houston. I had an 8:30 appointment once and had to be escorted from the parking lot while idiots yelled at me not to kill my baby (I wasn't pregnant), I was just getting birth control pills and a PAP smear.

A few years later, I went to a place that advertised free pregnancy tests and they locked me in the room and played a horrible film about abortion. If I had had a cell phone I could have called the police. What they did was really a crime. False Imprisonment. The more I thought about it, the angrier I got.

now I realize they didn't even come close to the sheer, unrelenting hatred and violence of the current woman-hating, gestational slavers.
