Boy, 13, fatally shot in St. Louis while stealing from car, police say

Police were finally on the right side of an incident.
This one is on the prosecutors, lawmakers, and fear of intruders promoted by the NRA.
He was a 13 yr old child!!

Police sought charges against the man Sunday but prosecutors declined charges against him, and he was released. A spokeswoman for St. Louis Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce could not be reached Monday.

It was not immediately clear Monday if the shooting falls within the scope of Missouri's castle doctrine. Under the law, people who encounter an intruder in their homes or vehicles — or on their property — are given more leeway in using deadly force.
