Looks Like Colorado Springs Police Will Keep Motive For Attack Secret.

How convenient that the Colorado Springs will NOT discuss why the shooter hit Planned Parenthood. The implication is that this act was a simple act of murder and will be treated as such. So nothing about the shoot will be made public which we have a right to know.

'they' being the powers to be, that we can't be talking about domestic "white" terrorist. It doesn't fit their narrow narrative.

I live next door or across the street I might say to a guy who is as crazy as they come when it comes to the bible and what his interpretation of it is.
When he gets to talking about abortions he will get so mad that he'll be visibly shaking. worries me.

The mayor of Colorado Springs is our former Extreme Right Wing Attorney General. He is a fundamentalist. He has said that only the murder charge will be necessary. I am sure they will try to keep why a secret. Even now the shooter is being portrayed as mentally ill.

Based on a face book post locally the local newspaper did not even put the attack on the front page. Colorado Springs is solid blood red politically. And it is a gun nut city. And remember there was shooter downtown a couple of weeks earlier. And 911 told the caller about an armed person that he had a right to openly carry is assault rifle. As a matter of fact the police will not say what kind of weapon the person had.

That's how it goes down here in Chicago.
It is surprising we did get info and the suspect 's racist statements were relayed regarding Dylann Roof and the church killings . Maybe we can't expect that anymore, or it is too soon. The background of the area doesn't give hope
I thought a witness I'd an AK47

Also the rumors the right wing has started have made it to the uninformed voters. Heard people last night when I was out discussi whether he was a cross dresser or moving to transgender
Ihave not seen this in any legit news source
I think Cruz team started those rumors not sure but without an official statement by CS authorities rumors are free to fly
Really pissed me off too as if cross dressing solidifies that you are mental is another ding they are moving with

The shooting happened only three days ago, and the suspect hasn't been indicted yet.

If you look for a conspiracy everywhere, you'll generally find one.

They have to interview witnesses, conduct search warrants, gather evidence from his computer, phone or other devices, interview people who knew him, review video footage, etc to build a case and take it to trial.

We'll likely find out what his motives just before or at the very moment they file charges. They can't keep the motive secret unless they plan on releasing him without charge and ignoring all FOIA requests.

It is like those insisting that all three fatality identities be immediately released without regards to family notification or wishes or any other rather complex reasons in such a crazy situation.

I am not buying any such argument. Sometimes these crazy events need some time to resolve.

Yes. One can make certain assumptions about motive given what has been released. However, when one goes to court with the case, ones ducks had better be in line or maybe this guy goes free. Part of this is to keep some of the evidence from leaking to the public. It is what investigation, prosecution and defense all do. It is a process.

We will learn what we will learn when it comes out. And if we have to wait for the trial we must be satisfied. The rest is irrelevant, no matter what narrative we might want to weave. Maybe unfortunately, that is our legal system.

Just trying to pose a respectful counter argument for discussion.

My regards.
