Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace spoke with GOP hopeful Carly Fiorina. He asked her this morning whether her language could have incited violence against the organization. Fiorina, who Wallace called “one of the toughest critics… of Planned Parenthood’s alleged harvesting of body parts,” Fiorina brushed off the idea and reiterated claims that Planned Parenthood sells baby parts.

CARLY FIORINA: “First, it is not alleged. Planned Parenthood acknowledged several weeks ago they would no longer take compensation for body parts, which sounds like an admission they were doing so. Secondly this is so typical of the left to immediately demonize the messenger, because they don’t agree with the message. The vast majority of Americans agree, what planned parenthood is doing is wrong. And that's why the vast majority of Americans are prepared not only to defund Planned Parenthood but to stop abortion for ANY reason after five months."..............

She, of all people, knows that a woman is absolutely oppressed financially if she can't control her fertility. Her family's economic health is disastrously compromised right along with the woman's physical health if forced into pregnancy after pregnancy after pregnancy. She is the most vile, despicable excuse for a human being in politics today, and with the current crop of cancerous candidates, that's really saying something. She, with her sourpuss "I smell something rotten" facial expression, just makes my skin crawl. If I thought she had any chance at all I would be terrified. As it is, she's just a pathetic, soulless succubus.

Of course, foreign terrorism is a genuine possibility, but we already undertake massive precautions in that regard. The refugees that so terrify Republicans (even the toddlers, apparently) undergo a rigorous, months-longing screening process and are scrutinized endlessly. We have border guards. Watch lists. Invasive quasi-legal-to-illegal government surveillance.

And still they call for more. Higher walls. Fewer civil liberties. More belligerence and endless war on Mexico and the Middle East.

Yet they also freely encourage Americans to see other Americans they disagree with as "murderers" who "sell baby parts," or that government healthcare involves "death panels." Things which, if true, would call for a violent response.

Then they affect annoyance and confusion when someone takes them at their word and commits savage violence trying to respond to whatever life-threatening specter they have raised and people point out the connection?

How dare "the left" suggest that Carly Fiorina's explicit, repeated, disclaimer-free lies about Planned Parenthood could motivate someone to act as if they believed her?

Talk about a reality bubble. What's being sold is that conservatives can tell lies that essentially call for violent political action as a matter of course, then roll their eyes at the thought that anyone took them seriously.

OF COURSE WE'RE LYING. THAT'S WHAT WE DO. IT IS OUR RIGHT, AS CONSERVATIVES, TO MAKE UP CRAZY SHIT AND IMPLY A THREAT OF VIOLENCE, THEN DISCLAIM ALL RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT LEADS EXACTLY WHERE ONE WOULD EXPECT IT TO LEAD.
