Okay, I'll admit it. I was a bit surprised to hear Huckabee call PP shooting "Domestic Terrorism"

Carly, yoo hoo, Carly? Where are you, dear?!? Carly? CARLY?????????

Huckabee: Planned Parenthood shooting is 'domestic terrorism'

'What he did is absolutely abominable, especially to us in the pro-life movement'

WASHINGTON (CNN) —Mike Huckabee called the Friday shootings at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado an act of "domestic terrorism."

The former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential contender who's known for his social conservatism admonished the alleged shooter in an interview with CNN's Brianna Keilar Sunday on "State of the Union."

"What he did is domestic terrorism, and what he did is absolutely abominable, especially to us in the pro-life movement, because there's nothing about any of us that would condone or in any way look the other way on something like this," Huckabee said.

...snip

But then he went on a despicable tirade slamming John Kerry. They all need to take responsibility for their inflammatory language and lies about Planned Parenthood. IT'S THEIR FUCKING FAULT THESE THINGS KEEP HAPPENING.

According to which, Planned Parenthood are "butchers."

For anyone without the intestinal fortitude to click the link, here's the relevant nugget:

"It's not enough to say we'll end funding for these butchers at Planned Parenthood. We need to end the disgusting disregard for human life that is the foundation for this infanticide that is beneath the dignity of our nation."

Still an asshole a million times over.

It's way messed up that a RWNJ's utterance of such a simple truth can elicit such a reaction though.

I'm going to go out on a (short) limb and say he goes into backpedal mode soon enough.

I too was favorably surprised, but there is this important point from your post:

It's way messed up that a RWNJ's utterance of such a simple truth can elicit such a reaction though.

As Yevtushenko wrote, "...that in so strange a time/Common integrity could look like courage."

And they need to be held accountable for this.

At least Huckabee did call it what it is. As much as I loath his politics, he used the right term this time.
