take out every piece of infrastructurehospitals, universities, irrigation systemsthat make it impossible [sic] for the Islamic State to raise money, to provide electricity, sanitation, potable water. Do exactly what we did to the Germans.
Asked by the CNN host whether the US public would tolerate the so-called innocent civilian death count, Scheuer replied:
They should. Whats the difference? Theyre not Americans.
Scheuers proudly sociopathic views should come as no surprise. In December 2013, he called for the assassination of President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron, approvingly citing 17th century political theorist Algernon Sidneys assertion that
by an established law among the most virtuous nations, every man might kill a tyrant; and no names are recorded in history with more honor, than of those who did it....
As far back as 2009, Scheuer (News Corpse, 7/1/09; FAIR Blog, 7/2/09) was hoping for a weapon of mass destruction to be used against the US, as he told Foxs Glenn Beck:
The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States . Only Osama can execute an attack which will force Americans to demand that their government protect them effectively, consistently and with as much violence as necessary.

(36,418 posts)Until 1999, when he started complaining about the Agency allowing al-Qaeda to operate a support network inside the the US, Scheuer was the head of Alec Station, the CIA's bin Laden Issues Station within the Counter-Terrorism Center (CTC). Unfortunately for him, he thought the Agency's job was to track and neutralize Saudi-supported terrorist groups, and he took that job seriously. He and most of his coworkers was replaced by a group picked by George Tenet who proceeded to knowingly allow the 9/11 hijackers into the U.S. The replacements ordered the FBI liaison at CTC to withhold a warning cable to Bureau headquarters.
He also became a vociferous critic of Israel, and the US intelligence's over-reliance upon Mossad for data and advise on the Mideast.
Please?

(101,347 posts)is also racist (claiming that Obama and Eric Holder are "allowed to ignore the constitution" because they're black), sexist (calling Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice at the head of a gang of "viragos" , and explicitly advocating the direct murder of "enough" innocent civilians in Muslim countries just to force those countries to have nothing to with jihadists.
It is disgraceful that CNN interviews him. They might as well interview the head of the Ku Klux Klan.
