Megyn Kelly Asks If It's 'Appropriate' For Chicago Protester To Stare At Cop

"This guy is having a silent protest with this police officer," he said.

"He gets right in his face and stares him down? This cop hasn't done anything wrong," Kelly replied.

"You think that's fine? You have no problem with this?" Kelly later asked Fowler after he maintained that the protester had a right to stare down the officer.

"This is his first amendment right. This biggest problem here is..." Fowler said in response.

"It's not a question of what his constitutional rights are. It's a question of what's appropriate,"
Kelly hit back.

"It's not a question of what his constitutional rights are. It's a question of what's appropriate,"

Actually, no. It is a matter of what his constitutional rights are. However, he is doing nothing inappropriate, anyway.

Why are these people even allowed to use air time? smh

Wed Nov 25, 2015, 11:26 AM

expressly authorizing itself to propagandize us. One can only shudder to think what that means. You can be lied to at your own expense.

Reading the wiki of the Fairness Doctrine is instructive. How Democrats in Congress opposed Reagan's attempts to end it, then went into radio silence (no pun intended) thereafter. How the Obama administration put the final nail in its coffin. (Previously, it would have taken only administrative action to revive it. Now it will take an Act of Congress.)

It is yet another sad example of how partisan our legislation is.

Worst example ever of that, IMO? Ted Kennedy, who touted himself as having health care as "the cause of my life" --and did in fact do many good things in that field--deliberately killed Nixon's initiative because, according to Kennedy, he didn't want it to happen during the Administration of a Republican President. Kennedy claimed that he regretted it and attempted to revive it, but he was too late because Watergate was by then consuming Nixon. However, Carter, obviously a Democratic President, claims that Kennedy killed his bill, too, so maybe Kennedy's motives were even worse than Kennedy admitted. Kennedy said killing Nixon's initiative was the biggest regret of his career, but sheesh!
