A loudmouthed, xenophobic and nationalistic blowhard with a gigantic ego and simple "answers" to very complicated questions. He gives the angry/dumb sheeple a man on a white horse - or maybe a big limo - to look up to and pour their power fantasies into.

Raygun thought simplicity combined with the character of an evil Fred Flintstone - America's Mussolini.

Haven't read the article, but I will bet that's its gist.

But a very dangerous clown. And 35-40% of the US population are literally dumber than bricks. Which makes him more dangerous.

but I never hear him actually give an answer to anything. When asked how he plans to do something, he says something like "Oh, you'll see!"

Or when asked how he would handle a situation, he'll say "In the greatest way you've ever seen!"

He gives non-answers.

His just saying he has the answer is good enough for his supporters, who really don't care WANT he is saying ... they just care that he is saying something in a big and confident way.

"Trump draws heavily on less educated, blue-collar white voters for his support."
