Imagine if a BLM protester had shot a white supremacist instead.

There'd be 24/7 news coverage, forced curfews and arrests of "suspects" en masse, some of whom would no doubt be shot for "resisting arrest."

That is what the "White" supremacists have been hoping for. I hear it LiberalArkie Nov 2015 #1
A white attacker will probably be shot by a black. Eleanors38 Nov 2015 #2
I'm pretty sure that you recognize that to be a loaded question Orrex Nov 2015 #3

"You have to get yourself a gun, you know that the "blacks" are going to riot again", Oh sure, uh huh.

I'm not so sure about the rest of your scenario.

But since it a "retaliatory" shooting will probably take place, we will find out.

Do you see a difference between BLM and the H. P. Newton Gun Club? Do the two groups overlap, or is there a kind of SCLC/SNCC/Panther distinction?

Just as I recognize that the H. P. Newton Gun Club is one of your favorite go-to points as if it's a get-out-of-discussion-free card.

Do you see a difference between BLM and the H. P. Newton Gun Club?
That question is impossible to answer until you explain what kind of difference you have in mind.

Do the two groups overlap, or is there a kind of SCLC/SNCC/Panther distinction?
This is likewise impossible to answer until you explain what you mean by "overlap" in this context.

Actually, I don't know what if any are the diffs between the Newton Gun Club and BLM. Does the BLM adhere to a strict non-violence policy in the manner of MLK, or does it have philosophical elements closer to Malcolm's notions of self-defense, esp. those of established communities? Is there a continuum of activist % militant beliefs; a try one method to see if it works, then try another? It ain't the 60s & 70s anymore, so I really don't know, and it appears you may not know either.

I find it curious that I get out of having discussions. E38, yet.
