Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said over the weekend that he would reauthorize the use of enhanced interrogation techniques in order to protect Americans from terrorism.
When the Syrian refugees are going to star pouring into this country, we dont know if theyre ISIS, we dont know if theyre a Trojan Horse, Trump told ABCs George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. I want to see a database and other checks and balances. We want to go with watch lists, we want to go with databases, and we have no choice.

After pointing out that a majority of the Syrian refugees were, in fact, women and children, Stephanopoulos wondered if Trump would bring back waterboarding, which was banned by President Barack Obama.
We have to be strong, the candidate insisted. You know, they dont use waterboarding over there, they use chopping off peoples heads, they use drowning people.
I would bring it back, I think waterboarding is peanuts compared to what they do to us, he opined. I would absolutely bring back interrogation and strong interrogation.

(75,480 posts)having to listen to him 24/7. This is why I'm forced to DVR the news so I can fast forward every time he's on and it's scary how often that is. Some of those news hours have only fifteen minutes on that I isn't of him or about him.
I suggest we torture him by locking him up in closet and making him watch old View shows with Rosie O'Donnell.

Why do people tune in Fox "news" and Rush Limbaugh?
How did Bush spend eight years in the White House without being elected?
I could go on, but there's really no apparent answer. My guess is that what scares people the most is CHANGE. Human beings never seem to adjust to the fact that the only constant in the world is change.

Maybe some "strong interrogation" could get the truth out of him.
