I cant's quote exactly, but .... After the Mali attack one of the MSNBC shows posted list of statistics for terrorist-caused deaths this year. Boko Haram led the group, Isis was second, and Al Quaeda was third. Each group was "credited" with approximately 8300-8500 deaths. About 25000 globally. Horrible, I know. But do the math. Gun deaths in the US ALONE total over 30,000 per year. Where's the 24-7 news coverage? Where's the panicked public? Where's the GODDAMN rage????

I was also stunned to learn that even if someone is on a terror watch list they can still legally buy a fucking assault weapon, thanks to the efforts of the NRA. We are a sick society, for sure.
