There's Stupid and then there's Jenny McCarthy Stupid

CHarlie Sheen's manager Mark Burg has responded to Jenny McCarthy‘s concern over the actor’s recent announcement that he has HIV.

The actress, who guest starred alongside Sheen on “Two and a Half Men,” blasted the actor on her SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday for not disclosing his diagnosis sooner, especially to TV love interests.

Burg tried to ease McCarthy’s personal concerns on Thursday and told People, “Charlie was infected long after he left ‘Two and a Half Men’ and long after he worked with Jenny.”

“Now being on ‘Two and a Half Men’ myself, I feel like in playing a love interest, you would think there would be some type of, I don’t want to say criminal issue, but I don’t even know how to feel about that,” she said on her show, “Dirty, Sexy, Funny.”

“If I have to be upfront about a herpe how could you not be upfront about HIV?” she marveled about the 50-year-old sitcom star. “I look back and I’m like, ‘OK, that would have been some valuable information.’ I mean look how many people have played his love interest on the show.”

Yeah, because acting on a tv show involves real sex and the exchange of bodily fluids...why does this woman have any type of job?

although this whole Sheen issue has exposed to me how little straight people overall know about HIV, including apparently a great level clueless on PrEP, testing frequency, viral count, risk of exposure, disclosure etc.
