How come the MSM didn't give much coverage to the Norwegian and Chinese hostages held by ISIS?

The MSM just kind of dropped the whole Isis hostage demands and execution videos thing after a while.

However, that was their main focus for several months last year, as Isis by turns played on our hopes then dashed them in the most cruel and perverse manner.

But the MSM didn't seem to be as interested in a Norwegian and a Chinese hostage who suffered the same fate recently.

Fair enough. I first saw coverage of it a couple of months ago on an Iranian news site. CJCRANE Nov 2015 #2

I know some people find Russian, Iranian and Middle Eastern news sites offensive but they have consistent coverage of Middle Eastern events whereas the western MSM tends to change focus quite often.

(The Daily Mail has also consistently covered Isis stories, something that many liberal news sites tend to shy away from except for major events).
