Why is Tom Ridge the go-to guy for the Today Show??

Yesterday and Monday the Today Show decided to bring out another relic from the Bush era - Tom Ridge

First of all the man is no longer in the White House. Why does he think he knows what's going on in there?? Why would this be the first person the so-called Liberal Media would talk to?? Why not talk to Janet Napolitano?? She more than likely has more information that would be more relevant this moron could ever discuss. All Tom Ridge did was bash the president.

Yep, a real great Liberal Media we have there . . .

When I was a journalist I complained to my news organization that as the person who counted and analyzed the demo of the invited guests I had noticed there were many Republicans and almost no Democrats. I was told this was because it was a Dem administration and the opposition viewpoint was necessary to prove the organization had a balanced perspective.

Years later, under the Bush admin I asked again as the person who counted and analyzed the demo why so many many many White Republican guests and almost no liberals. I was told it was a Republican administration and of course they would go largely to them as the ones closest to any news situation.


That is what the most fair and balanced news show on TV (you know who I mean) said their rationale is for only letting Repubs have a platform.

Tom Ridge on the other hand is apparently available at the drop of a hat. Sort of tells you how much demand he has.

SUCKS. Since it's obvious support of Shrub in 2000, I stopped watching completely. Matt Lauer is such a tool, too.

As for Liberal Media... if only.

Meanwhile, my blood pressure and general sense of equanimity are so much better since I turned OFF all network "news" and talk shows. My language is a tad less foul, too... far less profane screaming at the TV.
