This Woman Played Dead At The Bataclan, Then Wrote About Finding The Good Amid Horror

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2015/11/15/this-woman-played-dead-at-the-bataclan-then-wrote-about-finding-the-good-amid-horror/

One woman, 22-year-old Isobel Bowdery from Cape Town, South Africa, was in Paris and happened to be attending the rock show at the Bataclan concert hall on that dreadful night. After the horror was over, she wrote on her Facebook page the next day of her experience and what she needed to do to survive. She also spoke of the heroes and complete strangers who rallied together to help one another.

Bowdery’s words are powerfu,l and they need to be read and shared. She is not only a survivor, but an inspiration and a shining light of hope amid horror....

Bowdery’s words are not only honest and inspiring, they are necessary. “It is up to us to be better people. To live lives that the innocent victims of this tragedy dreamt about.” We cannot allow those who seek to drive terror into our hearts to succeed. We must continue to love, continue to dream, continue to live.

Thank you, Isobel, for your words. Thank you.
