I'm curious how to gunners think that guns would have actually helped? Also, what were they going to do in the theater? Shoot at two assault rifle-armed shooters in the dark with at most probably 17 bullets (depending on the gun)?

It's not like they were some crackheads robbing a convenience store with a little pea shooter. It's not like a movie where you shoot people 100 yards away with 2 shots. Monday morning quarterbacking is fairly easy, and everybody is a hero in their own minds.

Conceal carry isn't really geared toward terrorist attacks, but rather defending yourself, or family from common criminals.


Now if one was to be carrying an AR you may have a better chance against a non-suicide bomber, but for most of the folks out there carrying a long arm just isn't in the cards.
