McDonald's worker fired after viral video shows him throwing water at homeless man

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/mcdonald-worker-fired-throwing-water-homeless-man-article-1.2431555

A callous McDonald's employee who baited a homeless man with free food only to throw water in his face has been fired after video of the cruel trick went viral.

The Detroit fast-food worker was caught on video baiting the elderly man with a free sandwich and then dousing him with a cup of water when he got closer to the drive-thru window.

"You want a sandwich? Come here!" the unidentified employee says, while concealing the cup in his other hand. "Come on, man. I'm about to help you."

The pranked victim reaches out his hand but then gets splashed with water. The cameraman — a customer inside a car — bursts into laughter at the shocked man's expense.

But the cynic in me says they only fired him because they didn't like the bad press.

but it's also fucked up that had the employee done the right thing and actually gave the man free food
and management found out about it, they still would have fired him.
