They went to the vets on Tuesday all have gained almost a pound and a half. The little black males eye is much better still treating it, but hell keep it, which is good. Theyre outgrowing the bathroom and will get introduced to my other cats after this weekend if I still have them. They have sort of already been introduced as Ive taken a few (one at a time) to sniff each other out. The Siamese (hes a lynx point Siamese and the colors dont do him justice here) really wants to get out, and hes also too curious when I use the toilet I have to hold him while I do so he doesnt jump in he has tried already. This photo is blurry but you can see his nice blue eyes. They all play together and really love cuddling easiest group to socialize that I ever had. The two males think the slightly older female is Mom and she does care for them like she is.
Heres the female in a glamour pose, even if it is my bathroom.
Had another rescue group interested in taking them into their program, but the woman would not call me back but only text me. I told my vet Tuesday and he asked who is was, I gave him the name, and he said something to the effect of, Do not let them take the cats. Theyre horrible. Then he proceeded to tell me stories of mistreatment I trust him, so theyre not going there. Hell, todays my birthday so maybe Ill just be really stupid and give myself three more kittens as a present!

All 3 are very affectionate...easiest group so far to socialize.

I am glad to see the kittens thriving, they are at the cuteness overload stage.

(56,177 posts)They've really outgrown the bathroom so I need to figure the best way to introduce them to the others this weekend...the other cats know they're there, because these play that game where they stick paws underneath the door and the other side tries to grab them.
For me, that is always the first step. Then I usually let in the alpha to smell the newcomers. Then other cats and then let the kittens run around outside supervised. I am always amazed at how they eventually get along, or at least tolerate each other.

(56,177 posts)Very sweet and always loves kittens, so I've let him in from time to time...some of the older females never end up liking the new ones, but they will tolerate them after Ashley accepts them.

(22,651 posts)Are they old enough to spay and neuter now? It would be easier to find them the best homes once they are finished with yearly vaccines and 'fixed'
joeybee12
(56,177 posts)I started them on their shots yesterday...odds are I will still have them when they're ready to be fixed, late December, early January...

(22,651 posts)series and their RV in 2 or 3 weeks? I know from experience it's very expensive to rescue cats and dogs, especially when they are sick.

(50,273 posts)They are sooooooooo cute. I notice you have a Patriots logo on your post. If you're anywhere near New Hampshire, there's a cat rescue group in Jaffrey, NH you might check out. I don't know if they take cats from out-of-state, but I've only heard good things about them.
