He's showing his colors, isn't he? I imagine he's received many benefits over the years, but can now reject them for those who followed.

Hey, McCain...present day vets have gone through injuries you never thought of. Just look around you and see all the guys/gals trying to get on with their lives minus limbs, eyes, ears, etc., and tell me you don't have any duty to pay them back. Those are the ones we see. Just imagine those who will probably never leave the health care institutions. You made them, now pay them back.

McCain just earned another mark against him in my book.

He's been getting gov't bennies all his life.

1. Dependent of an active duty naval officer

2. Free college education at Annapolis

3. Bennies for himself and family as an active naval officer, including free medical care

4. Military retiree, half pay for the rest of his life, Tricare medical bennies, plus all his senator goodies

Fucking hypocrite

I don't care if someone thanks me or not, I didn't do it for them I did it for myself. I needed to prove something to myself and I did and it has nothing to do with mom's apple pie or baseball.

McCain is on that list...how pathetic for him.

What if there were no war veterans to heal now or "honor" later, maybe sometime in the future?

Which was kinda stupid anyway, because most members were forcibly drafted back then.

But, I just played it off and said, "Wasn't nothing. All I did was supply drugs to the 7th Fleet."

He said, "Oh, you were a medic?"

"No, I was a drug dealer".

He just walked away mumbling.
