KKK 'Adopt a Highway' Case Moved to State Supreme Court (GA)

The state denied the .. group's application for the Adopt-A-Highway program in 2012. The American Civil Liberties Union Foundation sued ...

A judge ruled in the group's favor in November 2014. The state appealed.

That SCOTUS opinion was issued in 6/2015. (The ACLU filed an amicus brief in that case as well, in support of the loser Sons of etc.) The decision was 5-4 (the liberal justices, plus Thomas).

The KKK, of course, wants their name on the signs that they put up.
