I grew up in the "post" era of the depression and can remember stories told to me by uncles and family about living thru the Depression - working all day for a farmer for 1/2 bushel of green beans, standing in line at 1 A.M. with a line of men at the factory gate where they would pick out 3 or 4 at 8 A.M. for a 12 hr. shift. Hard times.

People were desperate. They took jobs that paid little because they were desperate.employers had the upper hand.

If one of those 8 clowns on stage last night won the presidency a giant great depression would happen as a result of their election. Other countries would drop their dollars and treasuries on the world markets.
