Miseries for Missouri

Storm clouds are gathering over the middle of our country. The football team was prepared to sit out the next game if the president of the university did not resign. Racial tensions have been building on the campus for quite some time, probably since the Ferguson riots of a year ago. One student had gone on a hunger strike. The "N" word was heard on the campus. Diversity training was required of all incoming freshmen.

The NY Times had an article on the matter yesterday. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/10/us/university-of-missouri-system-president-resigns.html?_r=0

What does it portend for the future? Is this just the beginning of further racial tensions across the nation? Is this what Black Lives Matter is talking about?

It is a disturbing event and one that should gather all our attention.
