These athletes figured out the leverage.

IMO a great deal of social injustice can be cured by college athletes. If, as a group, they refuse to enroll in colleges in deep red locations they can impact social justice throughout the South faster than any other group.

it should come from listening to each other and learning. But it could have happened that way if HE had listened and he had learned. Instead, he let the place become a simmering cauldron of racist tensions.

I won't even begin to talk about how he tried to fuck over the graduate student workers n the school. He alienated himself and put himself on an island and now he's pretending to be a martyr.
