What does Trump mean?
Trump
Fart
Example
""He trumped in class this morning.""
As I've gotten older I speak his name regularly.

(31,464 posts)Since I don't have real TV, and had to wait until Sunday for HULU, my response is a bit delayed. But honestly, I didn't think the show was that bad. Overall, it was quite funny. Donald was a train wreck, and that was part of the enjoyment. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that. When Trump wasn't trumping himself, the other sketches weren't bad. The Weekend Update was very funny, especially Chey's responses to all of the race bits was spot-on.
Trump showed himself to be a total poseur buffoon, as if we didn't already know that.
A couple of points: Loren Michaels himself has said the show has basically always sucked. We remember "Bass-O-Matic" and "Roseanne Rosanna Danna," but we tend to forget that the show has always been a mix of few minutes of brilliance filled in with an hour of crap. That's just SNL, and frankly I actually think the Trump episode was one of the better one, in spite of the supposed presidential candidate.
Oh, and while I'm on it...the LOW POINT of the show was SIA. Really...I get performance art. I used to like Laurie Anderson. But this is just another example of a "schtick," a low-talent auto-tuned nobody who is know for her crazy costumes. The music itself could have been okay if she actually performed any of it herself instead of just standing there in her stupid wig while the kid flailed around on stage. She makes Lady Gaga look like Barbara Streisand.
