(14,449 posts)I was not aware until threads started popping up here and it was pretty much over. Friday nights gut is terrible night for tv except blue bloods and occasionally shark tank does well. We almost beat Fox News though.

(570 posts)I watched it. I didn't really understand the point of having all three candidates assembled together without having them interact, but they all performed well. The difference between the republican and democratic debates has been night and day.
I wish that SNL had done a better spoof since that was seen by so many.

(570 posts)I'm not a fan of Wasserman-Shultz, but her role is important. Does the party have a good replacement lined up? It seems like kind of a thankless job.

I'll warn you the quality is far from HD, but it's all there. The nice thing is you don't have to click tons of links to see it in segments like on MSNBC.

(19,566 posts)When I realized how annoying it was to try and watch it on MSNBC online, I looked for an alternate choice.
I think it's important we voters have a chance see what our choices actually have to say. I thought the format was a bit different, but it seemed to work out well enough over all.

(53,661 posts)We are so far from the media that I grew up with, that had a mandate to show us everything in the public interest, to their privatizing all information, editing out our president and the other disservices they do to us daily. They are the major force in dumbing us down with one of the best teaching tools ever invented.

(19,566 posts)The fact that we now have to jump through hoops to get basic information on our politicians is insanity. Over the course of my adult life I've watched everything, including our political system, be reduced to sound bytes and reality TV style drama. Every year it seems to just get a bit worse.

so far we still listening to Martin and I have to say I like this guy very much.
Man o man the dems do have a solid field of candidates
ETA: No wonder the press aren't talking about this. I'm impressed with O'malley and where he stands on issues.

(19,566 posts)It was really great to get to hear more from him in a one on one kind of interview. He has some great ideas people should get to hear.
The other two candidates also did great. I came away feeling proud to be a Democrat.

(51,308 posts)O'Malley was great, as were Bernie and Hillary.
I have some difficult choices ahead.

(51,076 posts)who ever is the nominee will be my first in the General Election. I'll come to them with the same passion I go to Bernie with.
Bernie is talking Vision and I like that in a candidate. He's not talking about where he was or any of that he is talking about where he wants to take us to make life better for all Americans. That is why I'm a Bernie Sanders supporter. I like his passion for helping the 99 percent of us.
