St. Cruz: "Any president that doesn't start the day on his knees isn't fit to be commander in chief"

Cruz, Huckabee, Jindal preach conservative principles

.......................

When Cruz took the stage, he didn't hesitate in diving into how religion and government should be connected.

"Any president that doesn't start the day on his knees isn't fit to be commander in chief," Cruz passionately said.

The three differences between American and British people:

We speak English and you don't.
When we hold a World Championship for a particular sport, we invite teams from other countries to play, as well.
When you meet the head of state in Great Britain, you only have to go down on one knee.

2008. Just two cycles later, he has been booted off the GOP main debate stage.

And Ted Cruz appeared to have won the hearts of the folks at the Conference.

While Huckabee's folksy theocratic fascism won the day in 2008, Cruz brings more fire to the same ideology.

It occurs to me that the people attending this Conference are probably not possessed of the sound judgment necessary to operate a motor vehicle on the nation's roads.

Reports from the Conference suggested that Cruz was met with enthusiastic applause.

Where are all the "normal" religious people at? I would think that they would be screaming from every corner denying any connection between any "real" religious beliefs and these kooks.
Don't they understand that their silence is tantamount to endorsement ?

Which is to say they hold the conceit that their version of make believe is real.

It's only a matter of degree to which a religious person oushes their fantasies on others.

Sun Nov 8, 2015, 06:58 PM
Nov 2015

Again...

During his remarks, Swanson reiterated his view that both the Old and New Testament require the death penalty for the crime of homosexuality, as well as his position that any Christian who attends a gay wedding can only do so in order to hold up a sign informing the couple that they ought to be put to death.
