The Progressive Democratic Message is Dying...

because of 2 simple reasons...Citizen’s United which allows oligarchs to spend billions on maintaing political control of a dumbed down electorate and Right Wing Controlled Media which supports every aspect of what is stated above.

Yes the Democratic party is a mess, however the political divide is so deep that I doubt anything will turn this fact around including a President Clinton or a President Sanders..

Because of this, I hope Progressives in the Country choose the right person to run against what I mentioned above so that the Right wing tea party does not gain complete control of our country...If that happens,... woe to all of us..

the DNC cannot get behind you...if you don't have anyone to run. Many many positions go unchallenged.....they cannot challenge if nobody wants to run.

This is where it has to start, at the local level. Ohio is finally moving in the correct direction. We have a great candidate, Ted Strickland, running for the Senate seat held by the sleazy Rob Portman. If you do not like the direction your state party is going get involved, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish even at the county level. Just help get some good people to run for office and volunteer on their campaign. Democrats need to get to work everywhere. We need to revitalize the party everywhere even in deep red states. The Rahm Emmanuel attitude needs to be put in the dustbin where it belongs.

Our state party has been moribund for years. David Pepper and Nina Turner are now our party leaders and they are going to make a huge difference here in Ohio. Those two are making a difference after being elected by Democratic Party members who were sick of getting rolled by the corrupt GOP here in Ohio.
