My first reaction....Yeah, like you helped fix FL for your dumbass brother in 2000!
Tone deaf, and any Dems if they have a pulse, should pick it up in a
snide, subtle way to make Dems remember the crap the GOP always does...

That's kind of like Clinton's take on the justice system, pledging basically to undo the Clinton messes made in the 80s.

AND...then Jeb! attempted to wreck the FL state library by cutting funding because it housed the 2000 election archives...and then he went after them...not sure if he succeeded in getting them destroyed or not...

(50,562 posts)If he were to get a constitutional amendment overturning Citizens United, redistrict all the states to eliminate gerrymandering, institute full taxpayer funding of presidential elections (complete with bans on private money being used for them), go on a crash program to create 50 million living-wage jobs, reunionize the workforce, get a revised Second Amendment that'll allow reasonable gun control, and execute his brother's entire administration as a warning to the rest of the GOP, he MIGHT be able to claim a good start on "fixing it."
Unfortunately, his idea of "fixing it" involves banning abortion, cutting taxes, increasing the number of guns on our streets, getting rid of the rest of those pesky regulations, and abolishing unions.

(20,166 posts)That slogan combined with releasing an ebook of selected emails...who thought that would jump start his dead campaign?
"The Post cites page 430 of 730, where Bush explains he hopes readers 'enjoy reading about medical liability tort reform, because it was one of my top priorities for 2003.' "

A week after faltering GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush ran home to Texas to meet with his family and stop his campaigns financial bleeding, the former Florida governor launched a reboot of his drive for the nomination with the slogan Jeb can fix it.
At a scheduled rally in Tampa, Bush announced what he hopes a campaign tour that he believes will help stop his precipitous fall in the polls that has seen him go from front-runner turn to also-ran.
Bush hinted at the change in direction in his campaign on Sunday, saying he has the leadership qualities to fix what is wrong with America. However, with commentators and strategists saying Bush could be out of the race within 30 days, Twitter commenters were quick to ask what exactly Jeb will fix: the country and his own collapsing campaign.

(6,409 posts)Obama has been trying very hard, and has achieved notable success, when it comes to cleaning up the mess left by GW Bush, but so much more needs to be done. I'm happy to hear someone takes this seriously. Way to go, Jeb!
