6. My two party animals started celebrating last night.

This morning my bed is filled with cat toys they brought to me during the night. The large, slobbery, cold, wet faux fur mouse on my pillow was a particularly nice party gift. They must have had a wild time in the kitchen too, or maybe a cat fight that resulted in a puddle of water sloshed across from the bowl that isn't where it should be, and all the waterlogged pieces of kibble proves that they had a good time.

open the doors to the cabinets and break glasses one by one, set off the alarm, have the cops come and have you pay for their false alarm while they lay in the window smiling at the cops.

Sleep 16 hours a day, eat, humor teh hoomins, eat, get belly rubs and chin/ear scratches, eat, go back to sleep. No worries, no responsibilities. What could possibly be better than that?

I intend to come back as a bookstore cat in my next life.
