He was one of the most famous republican Senators in his time. Everybody knew he was a Republican. But when he was convicted of corruption charges, Fox News turned him from an (R) to a (D).

When stuff like that becomes so expected and so commonplace that we joke about it, why does Faux even bother trying to prop up that ridiculous fiction that they are 'fair and balanced'? They're the broadcast equivalent of a sippy cup for an audience who needs constant ego stroking just to hold onto their conspiracy theories.
