Does anyone know why this is happening on DU?

I only get this on DU. Chrome or Firefox on an XP computer. Close the browser and reload and it's fine.

7. Here's my guess...

an older XP computer with not too much memory.

Sooo... at some point the cache and/or history builds up to something it can't handle. Restart the browser and the cache is cleared and it works again.

9. Yes. It happens to me from time to time on Chrome.

Generally, it happens during one of Chrome's endless updates. Chrome doesn't tell you that it is updating, but you can see it going on in Task Manager (Mangler) if you have it open.

If you refresh or move to a different page, what you see sometimes happens. The fix, as you discovered, is to close and restart your browser.

It's not on DU's end.
