SiriusXM pulls Channel 127 Progressive

From my lineup. Happened last week. My radio was saying "updating" for a few days. I was patient and gave it some time, but after 4 days, still nothing, so I called.
It seems they have removed it from their radio lineup and moved it to online only.
WTF?
No notification.
I love Progressive, and listen the in the car all the time. Stephanie Miller in the morning and then Thom Hartmann in the afternoon.
The SiriusXM woman on the other end said a similar channel is Insight, and I have listened to it, and it's fine, but damnit, I want Progressive back!!

I also sent them an email complaining as such. Why remove it? Remove the catholic channel,. remove fucking Faux News or something else.

Arrgghhhh!!

I would like to say that I'm kidding, but I'm not.

Since Stern came on board the music stations being beamed down have been suffering in quality, while Stern's channels and other 'premium personality' channels have been getting stronger, clearer, and higher in sound quality.

I quit SiriusXM a couple of years ago and told them that was my one reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if they killed a satellite station just to beef up Howard and company some more.

by listeners mostly white over 50 and full of anger and boredom...

Progressive listeners are younger, and lead very busy and productive lives.. Just not interested in listening to the radio all day and night..

But like I said it was there up until last Friday.
I'm not going to let it go.
I went out to have a little listen to Insight and there was some guy talking to another guy about how to write an essay. Gripping programming there!

I don't subscribe to Satellite radio. In my view it is a waste of money. I can get the same music and information from the internet or podcasts

Because I notice your link is to siriusxm.ca.

So I'm wondering if they weren't getting enough "clicks" to keep a station on that focuses exclusively on US politics.
