This Sunday's lineup of news shows is turning out to be an incredible day of interviews.
CBS seems to have come out on top with Speaker of the House John Boehner, who announced on Friday morning he will resign, appearing on "Face the Nation". A CBS spokesperson said Boehner had been scheduled to pre-tape an interview about the Pope's visit on Friday afternoon, but with the news of his resignation, Boehner's staff moved the interview to Sunday in studio with host John Dickerson.
In addition to Boehner, Sen. Bernie Sanders will be interviewed via satellite on "Face the Nation. CBS also has a big Sunday evening, with the "60 Minutes" season premiere featuring Charlie Rose's interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Scott Pelley's interview with Donald Trump.
Over at NBC's "Meet the Press," host Chuck Todd has his own big gets with both Hillary Clinton and Carly Fiorina. "Fox News Sunday" has Chris Wallace sitting down with Jeb Bush. CNN's "State of the Union" has Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Ben Carson and Martin O'Malley.
ABC's "This Week" has yet to announce their full line-up, we'll update this post as guests are added.
