(53,339 posts)I was still on local news in L.A., which naurally is full of Emmys coverage. And, distracted by reading DU and doing other things, I'm finding it very hard to focus on the Emmys program even though it's on my TV in the background. I'm going to have to watch the repeat.

(96 posts)I laughed at but overall it just seemed flat to me. Some comics don't always make great award show hosts. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Tina and Amy.

I still can't believe she is the first African American woman who has won Best Lead Actress in a Drama
And a big congrats also to Regina King. American Crime was incredible - it was because of her and Felicity Huffman. 2 strong women portraying 2 strong women!
