Regular DU poster = for purposes of this poll, let's say someone who posts at least once a week. Yes, it's very arbitrary. I am including "trolls" too, since they are considered posters, ugh.

100 is the median for the general population, and I very seriously doubt we're below that. We're at LEAST 100, imho. Might be 100.1, but that's above it.

The only people I've found that think "IQ" is important think that they're so much smarter (and better) than everyone else. Doesn't matter.

There are many stupid people who have high IQs, and smart people who don't.

17. I flunked almost all the math in early high school testing,

so I only got 116. My teacher said it would have been closer to 200 if I wasn't so bad at math.

Still, being able to retain info and test well isn't always an indicator of someone who is truly smart. High IQ is strangled by right wing thought.

23. Does everyone know their IQ? I don't.

I don't want to know. The other day my husband asked me to put new shoelaces on a pair of his shoes and insisted I was to lace them in a particular way, to examine another pair and do it just like that. Well, it took me about ten minutes to figure out. A young chimp or small child could've completed this task in a few minutes. I'm assuming IQ tests judge you harshly if you can't quickly tell which thing goes in what hole and so on, so I say my IQ is beer, and I say the hell with it.
