The cover picture is not accurate.

Carly Fiorina's statement about Planned Parenthood is a lie, I do agree there.

BUT...

The biggest lie of the debate belonged to Jeb Bush.

"My brother kept us safe."

Only if "us" are the filthy rich who got fat tax breaks from George Bush.

Many people do feel that way. They see the Afghanistan war as something any president would do, and that's probably correct. But they love GW Bush because he went the extra mile, phonied up some evidence, steamrolled Congress with the help of a gullible and compliant media, and killed maybe a quarter million (?) Iraqis in revenge for the 9/11 attacks. So "...kept us safe..." really means he took revenge on some people who had almost no connection to the events for which he was seeking revenge. "Better we fight them over there, than fight them here at home," was a popular sentiment at the time. Probably still is.

9/11, Katrina, Anthrax attacks, DC sniper attacks, LAX shooter attack, numerous embassy attacks, bad and cooked intelligence regarding WMD's, Bin Laden's leadership of AQ, protective gear for military personnel, competent military contractors, and the financial security of the nation. Other than that Bush kept us pretty safe.

Reproduce choice, most notably for poor women, is under a full scale assault right now. Whether one believes W was a "protector" is merely a fucking joke.

Also, they're about to shut down the Federal government over that lie, ffs.
