(25,253 posts)There has been too much attention given to the Repugs and these debates. They have no problem lying to the American People and saying the right thing about minimum wage, taxes, the middle class, etc - but not really meaning it. They do this because this is what they know the American People want to hear and that because they say these lies - they'll get some votes out of it.
Unfortunately - by the time the Dems begin debating and with the small number of debates that they will have - many people will be suffering from debate fatigue and not listen. As a result they go out and vote because they heard some nice things (lies) stated at the Repug debate.
Holding back on the timing and number of Dem debates is a disservice to the American People. DWS should be forced to act and act soon on these debates for the Dems and extend the number.
