Patrick County finds new home for portrait of Confederate general (VA)

PATRICK CO., Va. - The Patrick County Board of Supervisors has found a new home for the portrait of Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart.

The board voted unanimously Monday night to hang the portrait on the wall of honor in the Patrick County Administration Building ...

Circuit Court Judge Martin Clark removed the portrait because he said the Confederate symbols are offensive to African Americans.
