Holy Shite - I think I got it - ALl this talk about Obama not being

vetted enough even though he has been President for three plus years is an inversion of reality because Willard Rmoney has no plan of being vetted.

We're still waiting for his tax returns
Why is all that money overseas
What did he do at Bain
The little Americans know about Rmoney is frightening enough - he is greedy, secretive and convinced that he's entitled to the Presidency because he has lots of money.

Typical fugging ReTHUG inversion of reality.

No additional vetting needed. He's a self serving, smarmy hypocrite. Oh, I forgot, creepy.

why they keep on with the birtherism bullshit. Nobody's trying to vet Romney at all. This gives me an idea, call up Hannity and ask him why he's not vetting Romney.

... when Romney runs on his background in business, is there any convincing argument to be made if someone were to ask, "Why would that make for a good President, given all the roles and responsibilities and duties of the job?"

And I don't mean his stock, banal answers, but any kind of valid argument?

by the corporate media and its corporatist agenda. That is enough for them - tax breaks, loot government, run the unions - it is a dog whistle for the 1%.

Do you remember in Gulliver's Travels how the bureaucrats in Lilliput were promoted based on their ability to DANCE? You couldn't rise to a high level in the civil service unless you had excellent skills as a dancer/gymnast.

Saying being a good businessman is a prerequisite to being a good governor makes about as much sense, and it was obviously a myth that was perpetrated by businessmen. There have been other times in history when being a war hero was a prerequisite to being a good governor, and that's where the obsession with dressing up anemic, featherbrained twits in the European royal families in military uniforms covered with medals came from. There were also periods in history where being a good clergyman was a prerequisite, and still is in some places of the world.

I'm still waiting for THAT to happen during one of the interviews.

Obama needs to get out ahead on this. He needs to challenge Romney by saying both candidates should release their last 20 years of tax returns. Obama's would be very boring. Romeny's would be very telling. Which is exactly why Romeny will refuse to do it. If he releases them he looks bad. If he refuses to, he looks worse, and peoples' imaginations run wild.

Okay, if you want to vet candidates, let's VET!

Why does he only want to release ONE year's tax return? Why don't both candidates release TEN? How can you have 'faith in America' but refuse to pay your taxes there? Shouldn't you be running for President of SWITZERLAND or Governor of the Caymans if that's where you stash all your money?

Exactly what parts of Mormonism does he support? After all, he can't claim not to be a Mormon given that he ducked the Vietnam draft by being a 'missionary' in France.

Was he really living in his son's unfinished basement in Mass. when he registered to vote there? Where's the famous Republican outrage over 'voter fraud?' (This one is a favorite of mine. Stash your money offshore and register to vote in places you don't really live. Doesn't this speak to character more than some jackass you listened to preach for a half hour on Sunday morning?)

Don't want to talk about Baine Capital 'job creation' record? Okay, how about talking about your job creation record as gov. of Mass? 47th? 3rd from the bottom in job creation?

How was Baine Capital formed? It was a shell company set up by a larger equity company as a tax and regulation dodge? He sells it as an accomplishment when in fact he was handed the company and handed the capital, and acted essentially as a front man.

Just how many wives DID his great grandfather have? Where's all this 'defense of marriage stuff?'

Where was his father born? Mexico, wasn't it? So...a) how was George Romeny qualified to run for President, and b) where are all the birther's who claim Obama is not qualified to be President because his father was born in Kenya? Some of the more high profile people who've made exactly that argument should be asked exactly that question.
