They were gone on the way back so they must've started to melt from the rain (the poor things). No doubt they'd claim the weather was "tears from God" or something...

(15,805 posts)If they don't even know common bible stories, let alone history, why should anyone waste their time listening to delusional fools like this?

(14,733 posts)I know they call nuns the 'Brides of Christ', so if Christ is part of the Trinity, that makes him a serious polygamist and certainly not '1 man, 1 woman'.

(6,687 posts)In 1964 I told the Sunday school teacher if the Bible is right and God made Mary pregnant but didn't give her a choice and wasn't married to her then He was either a rapist or a fornicator. I asked thinking there's a translation problem somewhere but got the stare from hell instead of an answer.
3 hrs later my father was giving me a talking to about asking too many questions in Sunday school all the while trying not to laugh.

(5,141 posts)I know they're not everyone's favorite, but fruitcakes are good and scrummy especially with a nice cuppa tea. Fruitcakes don't hate anyone.
You take that back or no desert for you on Chistmas again ever!
Fruit Cakes deserve better treatment.
Fruitcake can be delicious and buttery and full of delightful things.
Those pictures are not of anything delightful at all!!

(50,560 posts)When you said "fruitcake" I was thinking "Claxton"...and two things came to mind: that it's too damn early for fruitcake, and that when those little bricks of heaven hit the stores around here I need to snag several, because I had to miss out on fruitcake last year. Or should I make lebkuchen instead? Decisions, decisions...man, I gots ta tell ya, in Berlin at Christmastime you can get these chocolate dipped lebkuchen that they started refusing to sell me - "mein Herr, someone else might want some of that!"
Then I open the post and it's just some religious nuts. Bummer, dude.
