actually supports marriage equality. Of course, that's probably only
because his daughter, Mary, is gay. He's a typical Republican
who wanted it left up to states to be able to discriminate...but after
the Supreme Court made it the law of the land, he thinks Kim Davis should
do her job.

During an interview on Newsmax, Dick and Liz Cheney both said that Davis needs to obey the law and begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples no matter how she feels about same-sex marriage.

“It’s the law of the land and as a general proposition, it seems to me you’ve got to go forward with it,” Cheney told host Steve Malzberg.

Malzberg tried to suggest that forcing Davis to do her public duty would turn into forcing churches to perform same-sex weddings, but even Liz Cheney couldn’t stomach that insane claim because churches are private institutions protected by the First Amendment while government employees are duty-bound to follow the law, even laws they don’t like.

“As my dad said, it is the law of the land,” Liz Cheney said. “The court has ruled. And she’s not an employee of a church or synagogue, she’s a government employee. So, she has an obligation to uphold the law.”

I still want to see a buddy evangelical show with her and the anti-darksided GOD warrior.

Come on, now.

Even though she's a vile woman whom we disagree with, this still isn't okay.

than just the surface representation, as one of our posters upthread (mnhtnbb) pointed out.

And yeah, when conceptually there is more to think about, then it makes it OK, at least in my book.

You might be interested to know that in some college English composition classes, students are given or are asked to select a graphic, and then they write about that graphic. They analyze it, interpret it, compare it, etc.

As our poster above commented, the juxtaposition gives us some materials on which to reflect.

Also, IMO, Serena does not look like a man, and anyone suggesting this has to be an outlier.
