An Angry Joe Biden Urges Workers To The Fight Corporate Barbarians Who Are Holding Them Down

Vice President Biden spoke before the Labor Day parade in Pittsburgh, PA, where he admitted that he is angry over the rich getting richer as workers get left behind. Biden also urged workers to stand up against the corporate “barbarians” that are holding them down.

Biden is a corporate guy, though and through. Just more likable than the others.

I looked into it and there was very little change - some warnings, credit counseling course requirements. The big one would be the student loans, but you can still get them discharged if you prove extreme hardship. And Biden could well have influenced it not being any worse than it was.

But this is my big problem with people and their attitude to Congress. Biden was only doing his job. Delaware is small and there are sometimes big employers - that employ thousands of Delawareans, and at the time, it was the banks. A senator while in the Senate represents his or her state. That's what people refuse to get when they complain about Obama not getting single payer out of Congress or the Blue Dogs. That's why the latest savior Bernie would have the same problems. There is no way the bully pulpit overcomes the fact each member of Congress is there for their state. Part of the separation of powers that is meant to mean the President cannot get everything he or she wants.

At one time, the DuPont Company employed such a major number of Delawareans - Delaware made corporate laws very favorable to corporations. The state prides itself on these laws and most huge companies are Delaware corporations - even internationals.

Your critique of federalism is absolutely spot on though, our elected representatives are in a system in which they are beholden to an interest. Their state has the ability to put them in and remove them from their office, it's the game. Sadly, although there are many roots to federalism, one of the most definitive issues was human slavery. This country went to war with itself over that horrid institution. Unless Bernie Sanders has a plan to pacify the Red States, there's only so much the Blue State folks can do to make good things happen. I will see Bernie Sanders launch a revolution when he's willing to publicly accept the odds of what could result from his nomination. I wouldn't look forward to the increasing probability of another Bush or Trump presidency.

Located in the Corporate Trust Center, 1209 North Orange Street, are some 285,000 companies like American Airlines, Apple, Bank of America, Berkshire Hathaway, Cargill, Coca-Cola, Ford, General Electric, Google, JPMorgan Chase, and Wal-Mart. These companies do business across the nation, around the world, and simply have a dropbox.

Biden may be just doing his job, but no one can overlook or minimize that he knows that his particular job has done little else but cater to these constituents.

After letting all this tax haven business slide for decades, Biden is not to be trusted.

That Joe was the second poorest senator... He was never in it for the money. He rode a train to work daily.

If you can forgive Byrd... Maybe you can see it on your heart to forgive Joe. He had carried the banner for our side for nearly 40 years.

I'm a Bernie supporter... However I have always felt that even with his faults, Joe is the most genuine and sincere person on the Hill.

Sorry...I just can't let the Biden bashing go unanswered.
