The campaign has barely started and the coverage is all about Trump. So, this should hardly be a surprise.

Now, hopefully, somebody is going to go against Trump substantially, showing he is a fraud. I am afraid this will not come from the GOP, however, who seems intent in attacking Trump from the right rather than showing he is a phony.

here's the meaning:
for the next 2 weeks, the Donald will use part of his 24/7 media ass-kissing sessions to talk about how he's crushing all the Democrats in the national polls.
that is it. that is the entire reason this poll was run as it was, with the bizarre demographic skews that it has, indicating serious problems with sample weighting. maybe it's an outlier, maybe it's total bullshit, that doesn't matter at all. what's important is the Trump Ego can keep on inflating.

This poll was already discussed here on Saturday: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027143230

Besides the flawed methodology, these "results" reveal just how skewed this "poll" is:

Hispanic voters:
31% - Trump
50% - Clinton

Black voters:
25% - Trump
59% - Clinton

There is no way either of these groups would support Trump beyond single digits.

They need to poll state to state, because electoral votes are what counts.

2 billion dollars of similar paid for advertising to come...it is "pay to play" for the 2016 election.

Cash Cow Trump figured that out early and had the complete lack of self-reflection the media adores.

I can't say for sure; maybe they will. No democratic candidate should take any group for granted.

But... I think it is more likely that this poll includes a lot of people who didn't represent themselves accurately to the pollster, which would make the sample not representative of the population.

He may not get traditional numbers. It wouldn't surprise me a whole lot if he got a much larger percentage of the black vote than a Bush or Romney would.

If you're asking yourself if this country is dumb enough to elect Trump, or even worse a Trump / Palin ticket, stop it. Of course it is. Trump won over simple minds with simplistic rhetoric. He's going to keep this up for his whole campaign.

Trump should be a joke. He should be at <1%. His actions, which clearly show him as unfit for office, should be destroying him. Instead, the media loves him even more. He's being taken even more seriously. This joke is this country.

Here's what the poster says:

"That is because Hillary is a horrific candidate, and a fraud of a human being. The Dems are so blinded by ideology, and some bizarre notion on how important the sex of the next President is, they can't face the fact that she is despised. I'm ready for Hillary to destroy the Dem party, and for Alex's head to explode. At least Trump is speaking about (too often inartfully) what is on the minds of most Americans."

This is probably a bit too harsh, but I have to admit, most people I know who aren't registered Dems really don't like Hillary...
