... At Dan Daniel Memorial Park, Phil Keesee, of Danville, walked about the Danville/Pittsylvania County Veterans Memorial.
Keesee, a Vietnam veteran, pointed out the brick with his name on it and the list of the names of local service members who died in Vietnam.
“Two of my buddies didn’t come back,” Keesee said quietly.
